We all know an individual or group who have been extra kind to our community, particularly during the pandemic challenges. You may have clapped them for the NHS, ‘liked’ them on Facebook or stopped and said a personal thank you.

Nominations for Civic Awards are now open
Maghull Town Council is now seeking nominations for its annual Civic Awards which acknowledge the contributions made by individuals and organisations from all parts of our community. The categories are as follows:-
Civic Award – for a person or organisation in recognition of their notable contribution to the community of Maghull on a voluntary basis irrespective of age and residency in Maghull.
Environment Award– for a person or organisation in recognition of actions to maintain and enhance the Maghull environment irrespective of age and residency in Maghull
Good Neighbour Award– Awarded to a Maghull resident(s) who support and enhance their neighbours lives
Local Business Award – Awarded to a local Maghull based business that offers outstanding services to customers and the community
Youth Award – for a person or organisation’s voluntary contribution to young people in Maghull
Beacon Award – a special award acknowledging the efforts of an individual or organisation that went above and beyond in supporting the people of Maghull during the pandemic
