We Need Your Funding Support to Continue Maghull’s Astounding Community Work: last chance to buy raffle tickets to keep our community work on track.
The Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) is an inspiring small, friendly local multi-award winning volunteer group which dedicates a huge amount of time and effort to make our community and the local environment a better place, often achieving seemingly impossible outcomes.
Please help FOMD’s once a year, month long chance to raise some much-needed funds through our raffle with wonderful prizes donated by generous local businesses. We would be delighted if you could support us via our online website.
Great Prizes – many local businesses have donated great prizes, such as meal vouchers, massage, beauty treatments etc. Full list is pictured.
Entries £1 per ticket. Draw to take place on Monday 15th July.
How to Enter
1. Head to the FOMD website and click the ‘Donate’ button: https://www.fomd.co.uk
• Include the word ‘RAFFLE’ in the notes box.
2. After you’ve donated, Email FOMD at admin@fomd.co.uk confirming:
• how many raffle entries your donation covers
• the name you’ve made your donation under
3. You’ll receive an email reply confirming your entry and your raffle number(s).
ACHIEVEMENTS.
A snapshot of all the unbelievable outcomes we have achieved together over the last four years, that your raffle donations will help us continue with:
  • Transformed profoundly neglected green spaces through massive unrivalled projects at the Parkbourn Estate, Stafford Moreton Way, Woodend/Bobby’s Wood and Rowlands Dell.
  • Climate Change Action, by planting over 16,000 trees in schools, parks and roads.
  • Supporting Maghull’s most vulnerable residents by successfully obtaining (1) funding (£7000) for the most successful Warm Space in Sefton over two years and (2) obtained over £6000 grant funding to provide all the essential digital equipment and services to enable the Maghull’s new Advice Centre to function.
  • Accolades, celebrating our achievements include: A Royal Volunteer Champion Award, a BBC Make a Difference Environmental Award, two consecutive Maghull Town Council Environmental Awards, a Maghull Mayoral Award, and a Sefton – Citizen For Good Award.
