Since the good news this week about the tree planting on Park Lane (highlighted above), I wondered if anyone, at their leisure, could litter pick Park Lane and maybe later on School Lane?
The tree planting on Park Lane is let down somewhat by all the litter and School Lane has become a litter problem since the fast-food retail park was built, with lots of people returning to Maghull and dumping their litter in the hedgerows. I have been litter picking Park Lane and Kenyons Lane for some years, but I am a little stretched with other community work at the moment, but I’m hoping to get out when I can and would be delighted for any of your ad hoc work.
