The Friends of Maghull & District’s (FOMD) free book swop bookcase at Maghull North Train Station, has been moved a few metres, over Christmas, to accommodate a new digital display monitor (well it does look like an iPhone!).
The book swap scheme started soon after the train station opened in 2018 and has been really successful, in providing a community heart to the new station. However, please exchange the books with one of your own books rather than simply taking them away, which will help the initiative to run by itself.
