The launch of our crowdfunding appeal for the Maghull Woodland Project, commences with a children’s easter art competition prizes & announcements on BBC Radio Merseyside, Maghull Community Radio and local Facebook pages.

Well done to the winners of each age section for their beautiful pictures and to every entry for their brilliant happy creativity. The Easter egg winners are Jessica Wilson aged 5, William Brookes aged 8, and George Brookes aged 12.

The competition was organised for fun but also to announce the launch of our new crowdfunding project to raise funds to improve the woodland approach into Maghull from Switch Island into an accessible, natural, community run green space for everyone.
