Hartley’s sixth generation Nursery has been at the heart of our community since1890, and situated near Robbins Island, with a rich history of supporting our community. Consequently, their experience is second to none and whenever I need a last-minute present, I’m never disappointed, whilst the café is a valued bustling tasty meeting place. Their success even extends amazingly beyond the nursery to the iconic status of world athletics and cricket, and captured in this link

Update: Day 10 of 15 (22.8.23) £766.84! Huge thanks to the residents on Larchwood Ave and some fabulous online donations for their kind raffle purchases today. This area was the third (2021) of many over the years to be supported to ‘make Maghull a better place to live’, with the £30,000 crowd funded transformation of a green space known as the Woodend Community Woodland Project which included perimeter wildlife friendly hedging, the installation of accessible paths, huge new border planting, children’s nature corner, picnic area and many other green improvements (please see website ‘Projects’ tab).
With many thanks to Anne-Louise (Hartley) and her friendly family team,
Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD).
