Maghull Parks & Green Spaces Combating Climate Change & Supporting Biodiversity: Now we need your help.

Between 2021/23 the Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) have planted 6090 trees in green spaces and parks, in the form of woodland and hedging as part of 16,000 planted throughout Maghull and supported by Mersey Forest (£40,000 grant) and free trees, including others from The Woodland Trust, The Conservation Volunteers and the Tree Council.

In 2021/22 Maghull’s St Georges and Hudson Primary Schools between them planted 2851 trees in the form of woodland and hedging as part of 16,000 planted throughout Maghull, organised and supported by the Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) and Mersey Forest.
