Our beautiful, historic, volunteer led station for over 20 years, was nominated to represent Merseyside for the best train station in the UK in three consecutive days of knockout rounds. Yesterday’s 24-hour online public vote resulted in winning the Northwest section beating Manchester Victoria, Oxenholme and Carlisle with 70% of the vote.
Today Maghull is up against the finalists from Scotland, Wales, and a bonus winner to get through to the final round tomorrow.
