A huge thank you to Diane, Joan, John, and Joanne who within one hour, last Saturday (4.11.23) filled another four bags with litter which was tenaciously in the grip of the ground ivy (64 bags in 4 one hour session!), filled two more agricultural bags of damaging Ivy removed from protected trees (see 1993 TPO Map) and the perimeter wall, dug up a massive rolled up carpet which must have been there for years, and Diane finished off by brilliantly sweeping the whole path of beautiful but dangerously slippy leaves. We have stacked many of the scattered broken and cut branches, to access ground ivy and litter, prior to reintroducing them as wildlife habitat in the future.
