It’s a lovely sign of the mutual support that exists across our community, that the long established and immensely valued Maghull in Bloom (MiB) had a little spare time in their normally busy schedule (31.1.24), that after deadheading their dormant plants at the Square planters, they kindly volunteered to remove some plantain weeds from two of the Friends of Maghull & District’s (FOMD) Stafford Moreton Way oblong flower borders.

It was a great help, just before the bulbs start sprouting, and will enable us to have a clean slate for sewing further wildflower seeds around the two borders, to reinforce the imminent spring display.

Many thanks Linda John and the team for your extra kindness.

More information about the FOMD four-year Stafford Moreton Way Eco-Project can be found below and includes our original introductory video, whilst the attached pictures show the before, after and current (dormant) borders.
