The Woodend Community Woodland Project (Bobby’s Wood) at the junction of Liverpool Road South and Northway, next to Bumble’s Children’s Nursery (L31 7BG), is Maghull’s most beautiful and largest community Woodland themed border that we created three years ago with your help involving 500 plant donations from the local community.

Thank You for Your Kind Support in our previous mid-week session on Wednesday (12.6.24) in which we achieved the following:

  • Amazingly removed one more agricultural bags of weeds (8 sessions=11 bags), from the border and edging closer to the children’s nature corner section (pictured).
  • Watered the recently planted 11 laburnum trees.

With many thanks to Ros, Jill (pictured next to the bug hotel in the children’s nature corner) & Frank not pictured.

Update. We hope you can help; it will really make a big difference. However, even if you cannot help, come and have a look, you will be amazed at the natural beauty and tranquillity that has been created on your doorstep. The stunning blossom from Maghull’s best display of daffodils, tulips, bluebells and tree blossom, is now giving way to the beautiful colours and textures of the biggest donated community border in Maghull. The weed removal is defining the beauty of the shrubs even more.

Many Thanks,

FOMD
