Thousands of daffodils and tulips are providing a beautiful display in Bobby’s Wood at the Friends of Maghull & District’s (FOMD) Woodend Community Woodland Project, with thousands of bluebells crocus, snowdrops and Cherry Tree blossom making an appearance soon, alongside 500 donated border shrubs.
FOMD planted the bulbs with the brilliant support of a local scout group only two years ago, using some of the unprecedented £30,000 restricted crowdfunding at the height of the pandemic restrictions.

We need your help!
FOMD has run on a shoe string, using our own money for running costs and not making any charges for our non-profit group. But we need your help for running costs eg new website, first annual account costs, insurance, printing flyers in the absence of the Champion Newspaper, project start up costs. We don’t have local sponsors as they already support a valuable long established group.
Please donate on our website to help us continue making a positive difference to our community. https://www.paypal.com/donate/…
Happy Easter,
FOMD
