Background.
Following the loss of the free weekly Champion newspaper in August 2022, it was recognised that ‘without communication it is difficult to have community’.
Consequently, Maghull Town Council and other organisations stepped up to emulate best practice elsewhere to create a handy A5 sized magazine, packed full of local stories and information and paid for through gratefully received local business advertising. We have saved a little on the costs in this edition by slightly reducing the weight of the outside cover, which is hardly noticeable, whilst we have kept it to 28 pages but hope to build on this.
Your Help and Thanks.
The feedback from the previous editions has been overwhelmingly positive. If you would like to support our next Spring edition, particularly through advertising or general feedback please contact Maghull Town Council on 01515263705.
With immense thanks for everyone’s successful support, particularly the unsung but invaluable Maghull Town council officers Stephanie and Phil.
