Sarah and her two sons Luke and Tom (Saxon Tree Services) very kindly at short notice (Thursday 16.5.24), went out of their way to pick up, for free, the remaining 7 of 14 donated rocks from Formby, that proved too heavy to transport by car, for the benefit of our community.

Saxon have kindly previously helped with the tree maintenance at Pimbley Playing Field, spent four hours brush cutting at Rowlands Dell, whilst Sarah on top of her normal hard-working week has somehow found the time to share her expertise by joining some of our one-hour sessions at Rowlands Dell on Saturdays.

The Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) are harmonising the newly unveiled Rowlands Dell noticeboard, by creating a welcoming rockery feature near the Hare & Hounds Pub entrance to the Dell site. Many thanks for the beautiful, donated rocks from Jake (Formby) and his father Paul (Maghull) and the tipoff from Paul Pruden (Mersey Care NHS Horticultural Manager) who spotted the opportunity on Facebook. Next week we hope to configure the rockery with donated plants.

Thank you for helping FOMD make such a positive difference to our community.

All the Best,

FOMD.
