Ince Blundell Nurseries are a friendly knowledgeable inexpensive nursery, established in 1982. The nursery neighbours the large Lady Green Nursery, so we often get everything at a fraction of the price with invaluable advice before visiting the larger neighbour. Update: Day 11 of 15 (23.8.23) £874.64! Huge thanks today to the residents on Broadwood Ave and an amazing online donation for their kind raffle purchases today. Also, a special mention for Vivian who went out of her way to track us down to buy tickets whilst we were working at Woodend this morning.
This area was the third (2021) of many over the years to be supported to ‘make Maghull a better place to live’, with the £30,000 crowd funded transformation of a green space known as the Woodend Community Woodland Project which included perimeter wildlife friendly hedging, the installation of accessible paths, huge new border planting, children’s nature corner, picnic area and many other green improvements (please see website ‘Projects’ tab).
