The first of 14 Monday afternoon welcoming Cosy Club sessions successfully took place today. 28 local residents, five volunteers, two Venue staff and two council staff combined to create a lovely warm atmosphere, with music and bingo prizes from the Maghull Community Radio Station, a hearty delicious meal of Scouse made by Kelly and colleague from The Venue, amazingly friendly volunteers, board games available, which all combined to make a lovely atmosphere where people were making new friends.

Maghull Community Radio who helped to create a really warm atmosphere
A huge thank you to everyone involved particularly Phil who has led on this initiative, and the Friends of Maghull & District CIC (FOMD CIC) who successfully received a grant from Sefton CVS to fund the Cosy Club.
