Local resident and business owner Paul Farrell (Mersey Jet Wash) showed extraordinary kindness, on a cold wet Tuesday morning (27.2.24), to spend four hours, for free, professionally power washing the entire tarmac path for the benefit of our whole community.
Paul had seen the community work being organised, over the last few months, by the Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) at their Dell project (adjacent to the Hare and Hounds Pub) and contacted us out of the blue to offer his enormously friendly, successful and long-established expertise. It wasn’t an easy job as the old path was quite fragile and the water supply from a very supportive neighbour (Anne) wasn’t very strong. However, with Paul’s expertise the path looks almost brand new, safer and represents not only a wonderful unexpected bonus but is a huge testament to Paul’s extraordinary community kindness
