Maghull FC (1921) successfully returned to the Northwest Counties First Division, following an absence of 26 years, with a dramatic 3-2 home win against Darwen, with the league’s highest family friendly attendance of 430 (27.7.24). This was followed by three away games in quick succession: drawing against Ashton Athletic 2-2 (30.7.24), losing against Euxton Villa 0-4 (3.8.24), then brilliantly bounce back with a win against Skelmersdale United 5-0 (6.8.24), resulting in an early respectable 6th table position.

Give your support on Saturday at 15:00 hours when Maghull have a thrilling home game against league leaders Bacup Borough (last year 10th of 18), who have a 100% record so far. Maghull also have a huge game in the FA Vase with an away draw against the historic Bury FC, who are currently in the above North-West Counties Premier league.
