Planting 50 Trees to Replace those lost at Pimbley Field: can you help 13.2.24?
13 February @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
| FreeI know it is a bit late to expect anyone to help out tomorrow morning at 930, but if you can I am planting 50 small tree whips, at Pimbley Field, which seems to be the only window of opportunity weatherwise and this week.
I look after my elderly neighbours large garden, which had almost 50 small rogue trees growing like weeds, which I have dug up to plant at Pimbley field, to replace those that have been lost over the last year.
Whilst today, I obtained over 50 spirals and canes from a local hedge perimeter. The hedge was planted in 2017 and is now mature, not requiring the canes and spirals. The plastic eventually starts disintegrating, but generally ends up becoming micro plastics and not entirely brilliant for the environment. So hopefully this is a good form of recycling at the same time!
If anyone can make it, all you will need is a spade, firm boots and garden gloves.
Many thanks if you can help.
Cheers, FOMD
