On Saturday (10.2.24) our Stage One renovation will continue by removing Ivy and Litter in the Dell (adjacent to the Hare and Hounds Pub) which has been turbocharged by the invaluable NHS Mersey Care Horticultural Team, who have flailed most of the site.

Consequently, we should be able to:

• Gain access to the remaining decades of litter which has been impossible to root out due to the thickness of the ground Ivy.
• In addition, we may be turning the soil in preparation for laying a new 40m wildlife friendly hedge, comprising of 253 whips.

We will be meeting at 10:00 hours. Please bring secateurs, lopping shears, saw or axe, but on this occasion mainly garden gloves and litter pickers and spades. In preparation for Stage Two involving future green landscaping and planting commencing in April.
