In one hour, on the 20.7.23, Joan and I cleared the weeds in the pictured area and spread several tons of woodchip to mulch and suppress future weeds, imagine how much we could achieve with your support in only one hour. Please help as a lot of our brilliant regular team are unavailable at the moment.

This month, the Friends of Maghull & District (FOMD) are focusing on our ongoing ‘One Hour open invitation initiative’, to ‘Make Maghull a Better Place’, by undertaking some light weeding in a huge, beautiful border we created at the Woodend Community Woodland Project.

If you can spare just one hour to drop in, the FOMD would love to see you on Sunday (30.7.23) 0900hrs and Tuesday (1.8.23) 14.00hrs, at our Woodend Community Woodland Project (Bobby’s Wood) on the junction of Liverpool Road South and Northway L31 7BG. There is no commitment, you can do as long or as little as you wish, but you will really help to make a big difference.
