If you have one hour to spare, the Friends of Maghull & District CIC (FOMD) we would welcome your kind support (Thursday 15.12.22) at 10:30 hours by Rainbow the rhinoceros to finish off some one off final annual small winter gardening tasks which involves the following:
  • Edging
  • Spreading Woodchiping
  • Digging a hole for a tree
All you will need are strong boots, garden gloves and if you can bring any of the following: garden spade, rake, brush and shovel,
The Stafford Moreton Way project started in 2019 (see www.spacehive.com/stafford-moreton and short video) and should look after itself, as we passed the maintenance onto the brilliant London and Cambridge property management subcontractors – Spacecare, but occasionally they need some help for the finer stuff before the bulbs and wildflowers grow again.
Many thanks to Jane and John (pictured 3.12.22) for spreading the donated wood chippings from Paul Richards (1) (tree surgeon), onto the left-hand border of SMW. The chippings make an attractive weed suppressant and mulch, and all done before the bulbs make an appearance.
Best Wishes,
FOMD CIC
