Following a successful crowdfunding campaign and the planting of trees, hedges and bulbs in November, preparation is being made for the final stage in April when wildflower turf will be planted and a noticeboard and a sculpture will be installed on Stafford Moreton Way, Maghull.

Dr Frank Sharp of the Friends of Maghull and District group is appealing to the local community and schools to collect clean plastic tops that will be used to fill a lifesized mesh galvanised steel rhinoceros sculpture.
