The Friends of Maghull & District CIC (FOMD) established a well-used book swop scheme next to the ticket office of Maghull North train station in 2018, utilising a two-shelf bookcase, which we passed onto a new station volunteer group, who are working hard to emulate the amazing work undertaken at the old Maghull Train Station.
Today we tidied it up and restocked the shelves with some donated books. If you are ever passing and see that it is getting depleted please consider donating your old books and also feel free to swop a book any time to make the project work.
