Following the replacement of a storm damaged sign it was decorated for Christmas.
The beginning of our stumpery, following the storm loss of a huge weeping birch tree on Parkbourn.
A huge thank you to Paul Richards and his son Harry (pictured 22.11.21) - local tree surgeons. Who yet again, have generously provided, free of charge, a large amount of wood chippings.This enabled us to remove the 6 inch deep rotted wood chippings and spread them on the outer border as a weed suppressant mulch.
We were astonished when Malcolm and Carol (local residents) gave us 73 hydrangea cuttings and 70 hydrangeas, 40 have now been planted at the rear of the outer border at Parkbourn.
Thank you very much for your ongoing support that has enabled us to unbelievably achieve some major milestones in the last two weeks. We have been able to prepare, purchase and sow the wildflower seeds in the centre border. In addition, we prepared and planted 255 daffodil and 575 bluebell bulbs in the outer border
The Riverside Housing Association maintenance team have been responsible for the upkeep of much of the unadopted green spaces on the Parkbourn & Beechway Estates for 25 years, in addition to many other sites across the region. Consequently, we were delighted & grateful that they were able to provide some more time in their busy

A new smaller Christmas tree was planted on Saturday with an irrigation pipe and neighbours on board to ensure watering during drought periods, Sadly, the new tree replaces our large Nordmann (Christmas tree) pride and joy that we planted on Stafford Moreton Way in December 2019, which suffered badly with the drought in April/May 2020,
