Please can you encourage anyone you may know to support Lee Brassington (aka Brass) who is undertaking an extraordinary walking challenge through our region to raise £5000 for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Over 24 days he is completing the three Peaks challenge which involves walking between and up the highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland. All undertaken with an equally challenging heavy 25 kg rucksack and arduous wild camping. Unbelievably, each year he gives his job up to complete six months of charity challenges.

Please show our generosity for such an amazing person and cause by visiting his donation site or follow his progress on:

My wife and I befriended Lee during a chance encounter during his Wales to Liverpool (he was taking a break on our Coronation picnic throne at Woodend) leg on Friday. We invited this inspirational character to pitch his tent in our garden, and recharge himself with a shower, meal, and cleaned clothes.  He is now (Tuesday 7.5.24) walking from Windermere (Lake District) up Scarfell Pike. It will be hard to miss this kind-hearted person as he is 6’5” and wearing a purple Bluebell Wood Charity Bib!

Huge thanks,
