Following the community planting of 72 trees to future proof the old established trees, the new tree whips needed a natural, inoffensive, polite barrier to help maximise their growth. Consequently, MTC kindly paid for 30 wooden 100x900mm stakes (£142) and 110m of discounted synthetic hemp 28mm rope (£385.45) and the installation was supported by their brilliant maintenance team (pictured 18.1.21). Special thanks to Alex Spencer (MTC Amenities Manager) and Angela McIntyre (MTC Chief Executive).
