Whilst taking a walk down Millbank Lane a couple of days ago to revisit the Friends of Maghull and District’s (FOMD) 637 trees we planted last year, we were treated to a spectacular sunset, whilst the trees are making steady progress.

On the 6.3.21, the local community organised by FOMD planted approximately 637 trees (pictured), forming a small wood and two hedges on a field next to the idyllic Millbank Lane, Maghull, on a smallholding belonging to Joanne, Keith and Ollie. It was a beautiful day, enhanced by the cheerful and hard-working volunteers.

If you are interested in helping us out in the future please register your interest at admin@fomd.co.uk or come and meet us at the Maghull Community Marketplace Event on 20.6.22 in the Town Hall (see attached poster).

All the best,

FOMD
